Book Review: The Girl Before By J P Delaney May 4, 2017 – Posted in: Books, Review – Tags: Book Reveiw
Staff review “The Girl Before” and gives 5 stars.
A house for rent is just what Emma is looking for, her boy friend Edward, finds a beautiful one with everything you could ask for but with strict proviso’s that nothing be added to it, including personal stuff such as photo’s, ornaments and even books. Still Edward likes it so they decide to move in together. All is well until Emma feels that Edward is getting controlling and domineering and not to give away the plot, scary. Emma falls down stairs and is killed.
Then along comes Jane who falls in love with the house and rents it with boyfriend simon and they are happy until Edward comes into their lives and the house feels in power. So Jane trys to find out more about edward and who he really is. A compelling read of love and control and loss of life. Well written and Flowing. A real page turner. I read it in one sitting and hope J R Delaney comes up with more in the near future.
