Fiction: MAGGIE’S KITCHEN – by CAROLINE BEECHAM

Book of the week: Maggie's kitchenLocal Readers Review:>

I really loved this book.

Set in war-torn London during the 2nd world war when The British Government introduced The Ministry of Food to help alleviate the suffering of victims of the London bombings.

This is the story of Maggie, who has a passion for food, operated her kitchen Maggie’s Way to supply enjoyable food for her customers.

The hurdles she encounters on the way are jumped with determination, resilience & vigor. All emotions are covered.

This is Caroline Beecham’s first novel, after a long career in film and television in Britain. She has relocated to Australia.

“I highly recommend this book.”
